Qlik announced today a new and enhanced mobile analytics experience with the Qlik Sense Mobile for SaaS. Forming one of four new features delivered this quarter in the Qlik SaaS data integration and analytics platform, these capabilities will support customers progress in their journey towards Active Intelligence, moving beyond passive data generation to informed action with simultaneous real-time intelligence and information.
James Fisher, the chief product officer at Qlik explains that analytic data pipelines designed for the cloud are the only ones capable of delivering real-time insights and action that forms the core of Active Intelligence. Fisher highlights that Qlik Sense Mobile for SaaS, along with the other planned features will enhance the only modern end-to-end platform capable of giving businesses the analytical data pipeline needed for real-time delivery of high-value data and information.
Qlik Sense Mobile for SaaS is an application for iOS and Android providing an improved user experience, interactive analysis online and offline and integrated alerts to encourage calculated decisions. With the support of Qlik Associative Engine operating, it enables complete data exploration, enabling mobile workers to answer all questions in any environment. The instant notifications ensure users are aware of any changes, enabling them to respond in real-time to updates.
In the latest mobile analytics and data value index report from Ventana Research, Qlik was ranked number 1 and regarded as the leader in both product and customer experience. Unlike Qlik, most BI and visualisation tools depend on query-based technology and display static, pre-defined views for mobile. Qlik is capable of generating more value by providing insights and answers to new questions whenever and wherever giving mobile workers vital insights wherever they’re working.
Other important features soon to be delivered in the Active Intelligence field include:
Collaborative Notes
This will enable team members to collaborate on entire analytics processes, from initial data sourcing through to insight delivery. Notes will make it simpler for users to inject a human perspective into analytics workflows by adding narrative and further context and creating discussions with other users.
Hybrid Data Delivery
This supports the option to enable real-time analytic data pipelines, creating and managing data sets that are automatically updated in real-time as data changes.
Self-Service Reporting
This new capability will enable users to receive selected data via email in pdf format, the option to subscribe to schedules charts and links to the analytics.
