Our partner, a growing healthcare firm in Houston, is seeking a Workday Financials Systems Administrator to join their team and play a key role in maintaining and optimizing their Workday Financials platform.
About the Role
As the system administrator, you will be the go-to expert for all things Workday Financials, ensuring seamless system performance, managing configurations, supporting end users, and collaborating with Finance and IT stakeholders to continuously improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Workday Financials modules, including Core Financials, Supplier Accounts, Procurement, and Expenses
- Make needed configurations to the system to meet key business requirements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze needs, propose solutions, and drive system improvements
- Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and training to Workday users
- Manage testing cycles for updates, new features, and integrations
- Ensure data integrity, financial controls, and system readiness for audits and regulatory reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials, ideally in a systems administrator or analyst role
- Deep knowledge of financial processes, systems configuration, and Workday reporting
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with Finance, IT, and Operations
- Strong communication and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
