Role Overview

 

As a TM1 Developer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of TM1/IBM Planning Analytics used for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to develop visualisations that support decision-making across finance operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboard and reporting solutions in IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Partner with Finance and FP&A teams to gather business requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable TM1 models and analytical applications.

Develop and optimise TurboIntegrator (TI) processes and rules to automate data integration, model calculations, and scenario analyses.

Deliver self-service analytics and actionable insights through intuitive reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with corporate finance objectives.

Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to finance users, enabling effective adoption and utilization of TM1/PAW tools.

Continuously monitor IBM Planning Analytics releases and enhancements, assessing potential impacts and implementing relevant new capabilities to improve financial modeling and reporting processes.

Recommend and implement process improvements and automation opportunities that strengthen financial planning efficiency and analytical depth.

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of technical experience with TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics.
  • Proficiency in MDX and TM1 scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAx).
  • SQL and relational database experience desirable.
  • Experience working in a finance or FP&A environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication andĀ stakeholder engagementĀ abilities.
