Strategic Finance, Systems & AI Innovation

Location: Hybrid | New York, NY

An industry-leading technology company is seeking a Systems & AI, Strategic Finance professional to own and evolve its finance systems landscape while helping shape the future of AI-enabled financial planning.

This is a highly visible role partnering across Finance, Data, Engineering, Accounting, and Operations to drive automation, improve planning processes, and optimize enterprise finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic finance transformation initiatives focused on automation, standardization, and scalable business processes.
• Drive AI adoption across Finance by embedding AI into planning, reporting, forecasting, and decision-making workflows.
• Serve as the functional and technical owner of the organization’s Pigment planning platform, including development, administration, enhancements, training, and user enablement.
• Own the finance systems roadmap, including prioritization, governance, testing, and implementation.
• Design and optimize finance systems architecture, data integrations, and enterprise planning capabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Data Engineering, Data Science, Accounting, and Operations to improve data quality, forecasting, and business processes.
• Build dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable business insights.
• Establish best practices for data governance, system controls, and change management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Finance Systems, Enterprise Planning, FP&A Systems, or related functions.
• Strong experience with finance systems architecture, implementations, integrations, and AI-driven automation.
• Hands-on experience with Pigment administration and development.
• Understanding of core finance processes, including FP&A, Accounting, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and financial close.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across technical and business teams.
