This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in the Greater Toronto Area, with a flexible hybrid model requiring in-office collaboration 2–3 times per month.
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Solution Engineer to join their growing presales team.
Reporting to senior leadership within Solution Engineering, this individual will play a key role in supporting enterprise sales initiatives by delivering consultative solution design, product demonstrations, and technical expertise throughout the customer evaluation process.
In this role, you will:
• Lead consultative discussions with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to uncover business challenges and solution requirements
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations to both business and technical audiences
• Build and configure proof-of-concepts aligned to prospect and customer needs
• Partner closely with Sales teams to support account strategy and drive successful deal execution
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, including solution design and best practices guidance
• Translate customer business and technical requirements to internal delivery and implementation teams
• Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion through additional solution use cases
• Support process improvement and reusable solution development across demos, automation, and customer engagements
What we’re looking for:
• 4+ years of existing Presales/Solutions Consulting experience
• Strong understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, or financial consolidation processes
• Experience delivering presentations, demos, or workshops to senior business stakeholders
• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience working with large datasets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
• Experience with financial systems, automation tools, reporting platforms, or data processes is considered an asset
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment
• Strong curiosity, adaptability, and collaborative mindset with interest in emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools
