Senior Financial Planning Analyst

My client, a high-growth SaaS firm, is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to serve as the primary FP&A partner to the various departments across the org. This role works closely with function leadership to translate growth targets into actionable headcount, capacity, and operating expense plans.

This role will also play a key part in modernizing planning processes by transitioning legacy sales and workforce models into a next-generation FP&A platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own capacity and productivity models, translating revenue targets into hiring and coverage plans
  • Act as the single source of truth for Sales headcount, managing hiring plans, attrition impacts, and budget alignment
  • Partner with Operations and People teams to track hiring velocity, time-to-productivity, and risks to future plans
  • Own the OpEx budget and lead quarterly forecasting for compensation, travel, and programs
  • Support the migration of sales and headcount models from legacy tools into a modern FP&A platform, improving automation and scalability
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights to department leadership, challenging assumptions and highlighting financial trade-offs
  • Drive adoption, enhancement, and automation of FP&A processes and reporting in Pigment
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure forecasts, actuals, commissions, and close activities are tightly aligned
  • Deliver ad hoc strategic analysis across pricing, investment tradeoffs, scenario modeling, and growth initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, documentation, and data quality to support scale and audit readiness

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ FP&A experience ideally in a high-growth or SaaS environment
  • Strong experience with headcount-heavy budgets and capacity modeling
  • Advanced spreadsheet modeling and analytical skills
  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, and BI tools; familiarity across modern FP&A platforms is a plus
  • Has worked within Pigment financial planning tool
  • Confident communicator with strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
