Our client is focused within the engineering industry and is looking for a Senior Controller to join their team. The Company has been operating as a leader in it’s field for over 50 Years, they work with the most cutting technology in the engineering sector and are seen as a pioneer in their space. THE ROLE:

– Responsible for group liquidity management

– Implementation of short-term money market transactions and financing projects

– Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

– Participation in budget and medium-term planning

– Creation and development of KPI reports

– Participation in digitalisation projects – including the implementation of BI systems but supporting the migration to SAP S/4HANA and driving development of SAP Analytics Cloud

– Analysis, evaluation and reporting

– Creation and development of decision-making documents and business cases

REQUIREMENTS:

– Degree in Business Administration with a focus on controlling and finance, or equivalent qualifications

– Experience in investment controlling and desirable skills in financing, liquidity forecasting, and business case modelling

– Strong IT affinity, particularly in SAP, Excel, and BI systems

– Ideally, several years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in larger organizations or in the non-profit sector

– German language skills of at least at C1 level and are complemented by good English skills and strong communication skills

– Analytical thinking, a strong willingness to learn, persuasiveness, assertiveness, and structured problem-solving skills round out your profile
