Senior Financial Analyst – Planful Expert (Remote)

We’re looking for a sharp, curious, and data-driven Senior Financial Analyst to turn numbers into strategy. You’ll be the go-to expert for financial insights, trend spotting, and business planning—helping leadership make smart, informed decisions that drive growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Dive deep into financial results to uncover insights and tell the story behind the numbers.
• Create clear, compelling reports and dashboards that help guide company strategy.
• Lead forecasting and annual planning, ensuring goals are realistic, actionable, and profitable.
• Be the admin of Planful
• Build and maintain financial models to support big decisions—from capital investments to acquisitions.
• Partner with executives and business units to analyze performance, streamline processes, and find new opportunities for improvement.
• Support key reporting, planning, and strategic initiatives (yes, you’ll have a seat at the table!).
• Jump into ad-hoc projects like M&A analysis, systems upgrades, or other special initiatives.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Planful experience, admin experience preferred
• 3+ years of solid financial analysis experience.
• Strong analytical chops—you love working with data and making it make sense.
• Excellent communication skills (you can explain complex stuff simply).
• Proficiency with Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.
• Based in mid west is a plus but not needed
