An established organization is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join on an 18-month contract, with the potential to turn into a permanent role. This role sits within a lean but high-impact finance team and plays a critical part in supporting enterprise-wide forecasting, reporting, and financial planning initiatives.

The FP&A function currently operates as a unified team supporting the broader business, with significant exposure to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

A key focus of the role will be supporting the implementation and enhancement of forecasting processes using Vena, alongside driving automation and improving financial modelling capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support enterprise forecasting processes and consolidation across multiple business units
  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial and data models to improve planning accuracy and scalability
  • Support implementation and optimization of forecasting tools (including Vena Solutions)
  • Develop timely and accurate reporting for senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Drive automation and process improvement within FP&A workflows
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment
  • Manage expectations and communication across multiple stakeholder groups in a fast-paced environment
  • Support continuous improvement of financial planning processes with a focus on efficiency and scalability

Note: This role is strictly FP&A-focused and does not include ownership of accounting operations.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis roles
  • Strong financial modelling and data modelling expertise
  • Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments (including structured close cycles)
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, particularly with project managers and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work under strict deadlines (e.g., 5-day close environment)
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and proactive approach to planning and expectation management
  • Experience with or exposure to Vena is a strong asset

They are comfortable working closely with project managers, translating requirements into actionable forecasting outputs, and driving clarity in ambiguous or evolving planning environments.
