Senior Financial Analyst – $90-110K – Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Our Client, a national Healthcare organization, is seeking an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst to join the team. This role plays a vital part in preparing and analyzing financial reports, maintaining forecasts, and supporting the development of budgets. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with Executive Management and finance liaisons to drive process improvements, resolve audit/compliance issues, and contribute to the implementation of organizational strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare monthly financial reports, statements, and dashboards for consolidated performance and individual units.
  • Analyze variances, prepare monthly reports, and assist in the development of financial reports for All Staff, Executive Management, and the Board of Trustees.
  • Collaborate with operating units to develop departmental budgets and year-end forecasts.
  • Conduct regular meetings with operating unit leaders and finance liaisons to review business plans, projects, and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure timely resolution of financial inquiries and requests, maintaining high-quality service and communication.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes, leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with monthly account reconciliations, month-end closing processes, and annual financial audits.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial analysis & reporting systems.
  • Lead and implement project plans for strategic initiatives within the Finance department.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and anticipate and identify potential issues, recommending solutions.
  • Monitor and summarize progress of projects, designing tools to manage processes and track progress.
  • Perform other related duties supporting and executing projects involving finance, financial planning, and operations as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related area required.
  • 3-5 years of analytical experience required.
  • Workday Adaptive Planning/ Adaptive Insights experience (OfficeConnect, Allocations, Dashboards)
  • Strong Presentation skills
