About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Anaplan Model Builder to play a critical role in supporting, administering, and continuously enhancing an enterprise-wide Anaplan financial planning environment. Embedded within the FP&A Systems team, you will help drive transformation through connected, agile financial planning solutions that empower strategic decision-making and operational excellence across multiple business units.

This role is central to ensuring the integrity, scalability, and ongoing evolution of the Anaplan ecosystem. You will serve as the go-to expert for model operations while also leading enhancements that align financial planning capabilities with evolving business strategies.

What You’ll Do

• Act as the primary expert for day-to-day Anaplan model operations, resolving complex issues and ensuring data accuracy
• Partner with finance and business teams to support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles
• Design, develop, and implement model enhancements and new functionality to meet changing business needs
• Monitor, audit, and validate data integrations, imports, and exports to maintain data integrity
• Troubleshoot model defects and system issues in collaboration with IT and Anaplan support teams
• Administer user access, security, and workspace governance to safeguard sensitive financial data
• Lead user enablement through office hours, training sessions, and ongoing support
• Maintain runbooks, documentation, and governance controls to ensure reliable operations
• Stay current with Anaplan platform updates, best practices, and community innovations
• Support cross-training initiatives and contribute across multiple Anaplan models

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Operations) or a highly technical discipline (Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in finance or FP&A with a strong understanding of financial planning processes
• 1+ year of hands-on experience building and maintaining Anaplan models (or similar planning platforms)
• Preferred: Anaplan Level 1 and Level 2 Model Builder certifications
• Advanced Excel skills with strong data modeling and manipulation experience
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as PowerPoint, Power BI, or Tableau
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach to training and support
• Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a passion for data and financial systems
