We are partnering with a leading insurance organization that has been leveraging Anaplan for over six years and recently committed to a new five-year agreement, reinforcing their long-term investment in enterprise planning capabilities.

With a strong foundation already in place, the business is entering an exciting phase of transformation, including a large-scale rebuild of existing models following a recent Polaris acquisition. This role will play a key part in shaping the future state of their Anaplan ecosystem.

The Role

As a Senior Anaplan Model Builder / Solutions Analyst, you will partner with stakeholders across multiple business units to design, build, and enhance Anaplan models that support key financial and operational planning processes.

You will work closely with a global team, including a Solution Architect (UK) and Model Builder (US), contributing to both ongoing enhancements and new model implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Anaplan models to support business objectives
  • Lead and contribute to new model builds as additional use cases are identified
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, flexible Anaplan solutions
  • Enhance and optimize existing models to improve performance and usability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows and identify process improvements
  • Support governance, best practices, and standardization across the Anaplan platform
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing

Required Experience & Skills

  • Certified Anaplan Model Builder
  • 2+ years of hands-on Anaplan model building experience
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of FP&A processes
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Experience working in insurance or financial services environments
