About the Opportunity

A leading global consulting organization is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Finance Transformation practice, supporting clients through planning modernization and enterprise performance management initiatives.

This role will focus on helping organizations improve planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management capabilities through the implementation of enterprise planning solutions. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to assess current-state processes, design future-state operating models, and deliver scalable technology solutions that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery

• Assess current planning processes, operating models, and supporting technologies
• Design future-state planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management solutions
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable solution designs
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to align business and technical requirements
• Support user acceptance testing, deployment activities, and post-go-live support

Solution Development

• Design, build, and enhance enterprise planning models
• Support data integration initiatives and centralized planning architectures
• Develop planning solutions that improve forecasting accuracy, operational visibility, and decision-making
• Create dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs for business and executive stakeholders
• Ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability

Project & Workstream Leadership

• Lead or support project workstreams within larger transformation programs
• Manage deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Data, and Operations teams throughout project lifecycles
• Contribute to client presentations, project documentation, and implementation activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Relevant enterprise planning platform certifications
• 4+ years of professional experience
• 3+ years of experience designing, building, and implementing enterprise planning solutions
• Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support
• Experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to travel as required for client engagements

Preferred

• Consulting or professional services experience
• Experience serving as a Solution Architect, Delivery Lead, or similar role
• Experience leading project workstreams and managing client-facing deliverables
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and integrated planning ecosystems
• Experience supporting proposal development and business development activities
• Experience creating executive-level presentations and communications
