Project Costing Specialist – Oracle Cloud (Director)

I am working with a Leading Big 4 organization who is looking for a Project Costing Specialist with a strong background in project-centric organizations to work on large Oracle ERP Implementations.

You will play a key role in end-to-end project delivery, with a focus on project costing, project-based billing, and capitalization. Your expertise will directly support the Consultancy’s Oracle Practice, which is currently leading multiple large-scale, full-scope Oracle Cloud implementations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead or support the implementation of Oracle Project Costing and Project Billing modules.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams to design and implement project-based accounting solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions across project lifecycle management, including:
• Cost collection and allocation
• Capitalization and asset integration
• Billing and revenue recognition
• Support full project delivery lifecycle: from planning through go-live and post-production support.
• Provide guidance to clients in project-centric industries on best practices and Oracle configurations.
• Work closely with solution architects, technical teams, and external subcontractors to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to the development of tools, templates, and accelerators for the Oracle Cloud Projects practice.

Job Requirements:

• 4–10+ years of experience in project-based financial roles, with at least 2+ Oracle Cloud implementations.
• Strong functional knowledge of:
• Oracle Project Costing
• Oracle Project Billing
• Capital projects and asset integration
• Hands-on experience in project-centric industries (e.g., Engineering & Construction, Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas).
• Demonstrated ability to own the workstream and drive full-cycle implementations.
• Solid understanding of project-based billing models, and financial controls in project environments.
• Exposure to integrations with Oracle Field Service, EPM, and Data Warehousing.
• Familiarity with compliance and reporting in capital-intensive industries.
