Oracle ERP Pre-Sales Lead

The Opportunity
Our client, a boutique Oracle consultancy, is seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Pre-Sales Lead to play a pivotal role in bridging Sales, Solution Architecture, and Delivery.
This is a highly client-facing position focused on shaping Oracle ERP solutions, leading demonstrations, responding to RFPs, and overseeing the transition from signed deal through to successful project mobilisation.
The successful candidate will work closely with Sales teams once opportunities have been qualified, taking ownership of the solutioning process, commercial estimation, implementation approach, and early-stage delivery oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Lead the pre-sales engagement process following initial opportunity qualification by the Sales team
- Design and shape Oracle ERP solutions aligned to client business requirements
- Deliver Oracle ERP demonstrations and facilitate client solution workshops
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand operational and transformation objectives
- Translate client requirements into scalable implementation approaches and solution roadmaps
- Partner closely with Sales teams to support deal progression and client engagement
RFP & Proposal Management
- Lead responses to RFPs, RFIs, and proposal submissions
- Define project scope, implementation methodology, delivery approach, and assumptions
- Build project estimations, resource plans, timelines, and pricing models
- Ensure solutions are commercially viable, technically sound, and deliverable
- Present proposed solutions to stakeholders, including leadership and procurement teams
Delivery Transition & Oversight
- Act as the key bridge between Sales and Delivery following contract signature
- Support project mobilisation and ensure alignment between proposed and delivered solutions
- Provide oversight during early delivery phases to maintain continuity and delivery confidence
- Identify and mitigate delivery and commercial risks during project planning
- Collaborate with consulting and project delivery teams to support successful implementation outcomes
Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Operations
- Work collaboratively with internal consultants, delivery teams, and sales leadership
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of pre-sales assets, methodologies, and processes
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud solutions
- Proven background in ERP pre-sales, solution consulting, or solution architecture
- Experience delivering Oracle ERP demonstrations and leading client workshops
- Strong RFP/RFI response and proposal management experience
- Commercially minded with experience estimating and pricing ERP transformation projects
- Good understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and delivery governance
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Previous experience within a consultancy or systems integrator environment preferred
