Codex have recently partnered with a fantastic global technology company who are looking for an experienced controller to join their dynamic and exciting finance team. Our client are a people-first organisation and are looking for great team players but also those able to work autonomously.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee all aspects of Accounting for the German entity
• Including but not limited to: monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, analysis of financial statements amongst other legal reporting requirements
• Reporting to senior colleagues on KPI’s and P&L
• Monitor and support operational and strategic decisions with strong financial analysis
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities within the market

Successful Candidate:

• Several years within Accounting/Controlling with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
• Knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Some exposure to NetSuite – even as an end-user
• Fantastic team player with strong social skills
• Fluent German speaking (at least B2/C1)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Comfortable working within a team but able to work autonomously
• A real ‘can-do’ attitude
