OneStream Lead Architect (US Remote)

Architects will be responsible for leading requirement gathering and design sessions for specific client implementation projects as well as helping to guide & ensure QA on the build, testing, and deployment phases of these OneStream business solutions.

Architects will work closely with Delivery Consultants to help guide/develop them and communicate, review, and hold them accountable to Ascend architecture, quality standards, and methods that help facilitate high quality, on-time, and in-scope delivery on the projects they are assigned to. They will communicate with Project Managers as required to understand issues on the projects they have been assigned to.

Simultaneously, an Architect may also be assigned to projects and be responsible for requirement gathering, design, build, testing, and deployment of business solutions on the OneStream XF platform for specific client implementation projects. In these cases, they will work as both an Architect and Project Lead on the project.

Position Responsibilities

Technical

Develop and communicate specifications for various application Architecture & QA standards to Delivery Consultants and other Delivery Team resources and clients as required.

Coach team members as required to ensure technical and QA standards are being checked and enforced in their applications.

Lead and participate in Business Analysis and Process improvements

Act as the point of escalation for complex functional and/or technical support during and after implementation as may be required

Continue to learn and apply various functional accounting terms, rules, and processes that are required to effectively communicate with clients on projects

Communication

Participate in requirements and design sessions and help guide Delivery Consultants in organizing and building these artefacts.

Communicate complex technical information to technical and non-technical individuals to ensure alignment with requirements, design, and implementation quality standards.

Provide experience and guidance to Project Managers and Application Delivery Team members on the best ways to build complex design items and manage the build of application elements.

Provide regular updates to team members and/or more senior staff on the status of projects

Provide guidance and assistance to more junior resources when required or requested

Collaborate with various teams to provide influence and attain buy-in to solution execution

Client

Collaborate as required with key Client contacts & Delivery Consultants to ensure all design and implementation criteria are met

Participate in regular team meetings as required, ensuring that ongoing continuous improvement goals are being met and accountabilities are communicated to team members

Provide training and ongoing support to internal team and client personnel as required

Must be willing to travel and work from various business locations and remotely as applicable

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

4+ years experience in EPM/CPM project implementation with OneStream

6+ years experience working in finance organizations with a focus on accounting and systems

OCP Architect Certification preferred

Advanced data manipulation skills using Excel, SQL, and Visual Basic

Excellent communications skills including both verbal and written with the proven ability to communicate difficult messages and negotiate complex situations

Excellent organization and time management

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
