Codex have partnered with a leading Technology company who are experiencing fantastic growth at the moment. They are international renowned and are looking for accounting professionals to join their rapidly growing team.

Responsibilities

• Independent recording and processing of all current business transactions in the areas of accounts payable, fixed asset and general ledger accounting
• Play an active role in implementation of new accounting system (ERP)
• Active role and preparation of Month, Quarterly and Year End Closings (ability to do this by yourself)
• 360 accounting and finance processes, including but not limited to auditing, reporting and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Responsibility for account and intercompany reconciliations as well as statistical reporting
• Optimizing accounting processes and providing expert insight and new ideas to improve the department

Qualifications

• REQUIRES – fluent German speaking (At least C1 certified, preferably native speaking)
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
• Further training within accounting, tax, controlling is preferable (IHK Bilanzbuchhalter etc)
• 3+ years’ accounting experience – open to 30+ years and beyond
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Annual financial statement audits as well as experience in balance sheet and accounting-related projects, ideally in an international environment
• Expert knowledge of HGB, IFRS and preferably US GAAP
