This is a full-time permanent hybrid opportunity based in the Greater Toronto Area, with 4 days onsite and 1 day work from home.

Our client is a large, fast-growing Canadian organization with a national presence and a strong track record of expansion through both organic growth and acquisitions. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Business Partner to join their commercial finance team.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Finance, this individual will play a key role in driving revenue and margin planning, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis related to revenue and pricing
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and senior leadership on pricing strategy, optimization initiatives, margin analysis, and contract effectiveness
  • Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans
  • Analyze sales performance, customer trends, product mix, and margin drivers to identify revenue growth and cost optimization opportunities
  • Build financial models to support contract negotiations and business expansion initiatives
  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding business performance and investment opportunities
  • Lead variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year results while identifying risks and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with analytics and BI teams to improve reporting, dashboards, and decision-support tools
  • Drive process improvements across forecasting, reporting, and financial governance
  • Ensure business initiatives are accurately reflected in forecasts and financial plans

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, MBA, or equivalent designation preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A, pricing, revenue, and margin analysis
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts
  • High attention to detail combined with strong strategic thinking capabilities
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, or acquisition-driven environment
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data manipulation
  • Experience with FP&A and reporting tools such as Vena, Power BI, ERP systems, and SQL is considered an asset
