Director, Financial Systems (OneStream) – Toronto, CA

Joining an industry leading, global organization, you will be spearheading the tail-end of an exciting OneStream implementation.

With a continued roadmap of enhancement and further implementations, you would join as the OneStream Subject Matter Expert of the organization, sitting within the Finance Technology team.

Based in Toronto on a hybrid basis, you would have great opportunity to collaborate with teams and internal stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a current OneStream Internal Champion or a Lead Consultant/Solution Architect looking to step into industry.

Responsibilities

Product Roadmap

• Constantly monitor new FP&A and OneStream technological trends and best practices, and integrate them into the design and development of the OneStream solution
• Identify and define OneStream and FP&A solution product roadmaps to ensure scalability, simplification, automation, sustainability, and standardization of the OneStream and FP&A global solution

Solution analysis, design, development, testing, & implementation

• Maintain OneStream EPM solutions, ensuring they adhere to industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Manage a team of developers and functional teams, including goal setting, code reviews, and providing mentoring and guidance.
• Manage integrations and ensure scalability, security, performance, and system reliability.
• Lead technical discussions and develop plans to improve the innovation of the OneStream solution, integration engine, and development processes
• Maintain and evolve a practical approach to OneStream architecture design

Finance Planning technology leadership

• Provide technology direction and product roadmap prioritization recommendations to the OneStream product owner that aligns with the stakeholder’s vision.
• Drive technical accountability with OneStream and FP&A solution vendors for project or product deliverables
• Develop operational knowledge and understanding of the planning business process.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams to implement technology solutions.
• Work with finance to develop informed training plans and contribute to the development of training materials that will be used in the training of end users on enhancements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology vendors to understand their capabilities and strategic roadmaps.
• Manage project / product scope by thoroughly understanding the business culture, technology environment, and user community.
• Identify technology solution opportunities to leverage applications across the organization to eliminate duplicate systems within the solution ecosystem

Requirements

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance and/or Information Systems
• 3+ years of OneStream experience (essential)
• Knowledgeable on the financial reporting process, finance/accounting experience preferred
• Proven experience within the OneStream ecosystem, either in-house or within implementation
• Strong interpersonal skills, including executive presence and communication
• SQL, C#, VB.NET experience
