We have partnered with a well established company looking for A Solution Engineer who is a dynamic individual with a strong ability to solve problems creatively, quickly, and distill information to customers in an impactful manner. The position will report to the Director of Solution Engineering and will work extensively with various internal and external clients.

Requirements

  • Lead consultative discussions with Finance and Accounting stakeholders on Financial Performance Management processes, including FP&A, consolidation, and close, to uncover business challenges and solution requirements.
  • Deliver tailored presentations and demonstrations showcasing our platform to help execute the technical aspects of the account strategy.
  • Configure POCs that address specific prospect or customer needs to prove they are uniquely positioned to solve their challenges.
  • Partner closely with Sales to develop and execute deal strategies, providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
  • Serve as the technical trusted advisor, guiding prospective customers through evaluation, architecture considerations, and best practices.
  • Develop proposals and communicate customer’s business & technical requirements to Professional Services team to ensure a smooth transition to post-sales.
  • Support account expansion opportunities by identifying and demonstrating additional use cases to drive incremental value for customers.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience, predominantly in Solution Engineering or Presales roles; experience in consulting or finance systems implementation is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and/or financial consolidation
  • Experience delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations to business and technical stakeholders
  • Post-Secondary Degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in analyzing and / or manipulating large data sets
  • Able to clearly articulate concepts and business benefits to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior finance and business leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience designing re-usable processes & solutions (e.g. Excel models, automation scripts, ETL processes, etc.)
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technology, its benefits, and how it can be leveraged to achieve business goals & objectives
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
  • Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
  • Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
  • Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located
