Responsibilities:
Manage Critical Accounting Processes:
- Oversee month-end close procedures in collaboration with a third-party bookkeeping firm and accounting administrator.
- Issue client invoices monthly.
- Process payroll bi-monthly.
- Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and overall accounting oversight.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
Support Annual Audit:
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and related third parties.
Strategic Analyses and Financial Reporting:
- Lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data for informed decision-making.
- Assist management in the annual budgeting process.
- Undertake ad-hoc FP&A tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA certification required.
- 3+ years of financial analysis and/or accounting experience, preferably with a large accounting firm.
- Proven track record of effectively managing financial processes and teams.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise in journal entries and finance.
