About the Role

We’re hiring an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee delivery quality across a diverse client portfolio. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership experience who can operate independently and take ownership from day one.

You’ll work closely with Supervisors and Senior Accountants, serving as a key layer of analytical review and operational oversight while partnering with firm leadership on systems, workflows, and quality initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Review client financials and identify unusual movements, inconsistencies, or items requiring further analysis before delivery

• Manage a portfolio of clients end to end, balancing team workloads and ensuring deadlines are met

• Provide final-level review of deliverables prior to client delivery

• Coach and develop accounting team members to elevate overall performance and quality

• Help establish and maintain quality standards across accounting processes and client work

• Partner with leadership on operational improvements, systems, and workflow enhancements

What You Bring

• 8+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years managing teams and client portfolios within an outsourced accounting, CAS, or fractional CFO environment

• Proven ability to operate independently at the Manager level

• Experience supporting clients across multiple industries and business models

• Strong understanding of full accrual accounting, including accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed assets, and revenue recognition

• Hands-on experience with payroll, sales tax, and recurring close processes

• Familiarity with multiple accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Xero, or similar systems

• Strong analytical and financial review capabilities

• Experience mentoring and developing accounting professionals

• Strong project and portfolio management skills

• CPA preferred but not required
