About the job
Oracle EPM Planning & AI Implementation Lead
We are working with a growing boutique advisory firm specializing in forecasting, planning transformation, AI, and Oracle EPM.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the world of planning and forecasting — someone who thinks about how organizations can forecast better, challenges traditional approaches, and is excited by how AI and emerging technology could change FP&A over the next several years.
You don’t need to be an AI expert. We’re equally interested in people who are naturally curious about it — whether you’ve explored AI professionally, built something yourself, experimented with tools in your personal life, or simply spend time thinking about where the technology is heading.
You’ll combine that curiosity with a strong foundation in Oracle EPM and enterprise planning.
What You’ll Be Doing
Initially, you’ll play a key role in a major, multi-year planning transformation for a large enterprise organization.
You’ll:
- Bring strong Oracle EPM, planning and forecasting expertise into complex transformation conversations.
- Review and challenge proposed future-state processes, requirements, architecture, roadmaps and technology decisions.
- Help clients think differently about how they plan, forecast and make decisions.
- Explore how AI, automation and emerging technologies can improve forecasting and FP&A.
- Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts when showing an idea is more valuable than simply talking about it.
- Work directly with senior Finance and Technology stakeholders, forming your own point of view and confidently defending it.
- Help shape the firm’s broader approach to modern planning and forecasting as the business grows.
What We’re Looking For
We’re less interested in somebody ticking every box and more interested in finding someone with the right combination of EPM knowledge, curiosity and passion for forecasting.
You’ll ideally bring:
- A strong background in Oracle EPM, particularly Planning and forecasting.
- Experience within EPM, FP&A, finance transformation or a related consulting environment.
- A genuine interest in forecasting and how organizations can plan better.
- Curiosity around AI and emerging technology — professional AI experience is absolutely not required.
- The ability to challenge existing thinking and develop your own recommendations.
- The confidence to work with senior Finance and Technology stakeholders.
- A willingness to build and experiment, rather than only advise.
- Experience within utilities or another regulated industry would be helpful, but isn’t essential.
Why Join?
This is a growing, entrepreneurial firm with a significant pipeline of work ahead of it. You’ll be joining at a stage where you can have a genuine impact on how the business develops rather than simply becoming another person within a large consulting organization.
