About the job
Financial Systems Manager (Pigment)
Remote – US
$90,000 – $150,000 USD
A fast-growing pre-IPO software company working across many large enterprises and are currently preparing for a transition to becoming a public company.
This is a hands on role for someone who wants to build next generation financial systems and put AI to real use in finance, rather than just talk about it. You’ll sit within the FP&A team, reporting to the Director of Corporate FP&A, and take ownership of the company’s EPM platform while leading the charge on AI adoption across planning, forecasting, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Own the EPM platform (Pigment) end to end, including data models, calculation logic, dimensional structure, security, and releases
- Translate business requirements such as revenue models, headcount plans, and unit economics into scalable technical solutions
- Make key architectural decisions that shape how planning works across the company long term
- Identify, pilot, and deploy AI use cases including automated variance commentary, narrative generation, anomaly detection, and scenario modeling
- Design and test conversational and agent-driven workflows that support business partners through routine planning tasks
- Partner with Data Science and IT on AI rollouts, ensuring governance, accuracy, and auditability
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a hybrid FP&A/Systems role with a solid grounding in corporate finance and forecasting logic
- Hands-on implementation experience with modern EPM platforms (Pigment Certified Modeler experience is a plus)
- Exposure to cross-system integrations (ERP and BI tools)
- Active daily use of LLMs, copilots, or automation tools to solve business problems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and juggling multiple priorities
- Experience at a high growth, pre-IPO SaaS company is preferred; Python or similar scripting experience is a plus
