A rapidly growing technology company is seeking a Director of Strategic Finance to lead financial partnership efforts across Product and Engineering organizations. This individual will play a critical role in shaping investment decisions, driving resource allocation, developing financial frameworks, and influencing executive-level strategy. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this position will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to improve forecasting, evaluate growth opportunities, and drive operational efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead finance partner to Product and Engineering teams, providing strategic insights and decision support.
• Own forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, and investment analysis for key business initiatives.
• Build financial models and business cases to evaluate growth opportunities, operational efficiency, and profitability.
• Develop and track KPIs, delivering actionable insights to improve business performance.
• Lead cross-functional planning efforts and drive alignment between operational goals and financial targets.
• Mentor and develop finance team members while building scalable processes and reporting frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI tools to enhance forecasting, reporting, and financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Strategy.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and business partnering skills.
• Experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Deep understanding of SaaS, subscription, or technology business models preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with financial planning tools, BI platforms, Excel, and AI-enabled technologies.

• Experience building or scaling a strategic finance function.
• Proven track record driving process improvements through automation or AI.
