About the Role

Seeking an Implementation Team Lead to scale customer delivery in a hybrid player-coach role. This position combines team leadership with hands-on ownership of complex, ERP-integrated implementations. You will lead strategic projects, mentor a growing team, and help build scalable processes that ensure successful customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of Implementation Managers, providing coaching and development support
  • ERP Implementation Ownership: Lead end-to-end onboarding for complex customers, including business process mapping, system configuration, and ERP integrations (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks)
  • Project Execution: Drive successful go-lives by managing timelines, stakeholders, and technical dependencies
  • Process Improvement: Standardize workflows and refine implementation playbooks and tooling
  • Accounting Alignment: Translate accounting and revenue recognition requirements into effective system configurations
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to improve delivery and identify product gaps
  • Delivery Excellence: Track performance metrics, resolve blockers, and ensure high-quality implementations

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in software implementation, including hands-on ERP implementations (required)
  • Strong experience integrating with ERP systems such as NetSuite or QuickBooks
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, including revenue recognition (e.g., ASC 606) and order-to-cash workflows
  • Experience managing or mentoring a small team while owning projects directly
  • Proven ability to lead complex implementations end-to-end
  • Strong communication skills across technical and financial stakeholders
  • Background in accounting, finance systems, or consulting (CPA or similar experience is a plus)
  • Ability to work onsite in New York City
