Role overview

As a Cloud Engineer, you will design and build scalable cloud environments and data solutions, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders. You’ll contribute to the development of cloud platforms, data pipelines, and automated systems using modern technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Develop and optimise data pipelines for batch and real-time processing
• Support the delivery of data platforms using tools like Databricks or Snowflake
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions
• Apply best practices in automation, containerisation, and deployment

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data solutions
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and/or Spark
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform), Docker, Kubernetes
• Relevant academic background in IT or a related field
• Fluent German (C1) and strong English skills
