Unique opportunity to join an established Global Digital Transformation company as they scale their IBM Maximo consulting practice. This role will initially be responsible for MAS-specific Delivery projects, ideally as a techno-functional lead resource. At the Practice Lead level, you’ll also be responsible for bringing in new business as well as hiring into the team to scale the business.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall architecture and solution design across Maximo implementations
• Lead upgrades into MAS (including migrations from older versions onto OpenShift)
• Handle integrations with wider business systems like ERP, Finance, Field Service, etc. using MIF and APIs
• Guide clients away from heavy customization where possible, making the most of native Maximo functionality, workflows, and scripts – aligning with IBM best practices.
• Run workshops with stakeholders and turn operational requirements into workable technical solutions
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership, supporting developers and setting standards across code and database work
• Get involved in troubleshooting when things get complex, especially around performance or system design
• Support pre-sales work when needed (RFPs, solutioning, demos, estimates)
• Keep up to speed with MAS updates, AI developments, and generally stay active in the Maximo space
• At Practice Lead Level: There’s also scope to contribute to hiring, sales input, and shaping the wider practice

Requirements

• 10+ years of IBM Maximo experience, ideally within consulting and progressing into Architect/Leadership role
• Proven delivery of multiple full lifecycle Maximo implementations – ideally leading those projects too
• Hands-on experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and OpenShift
• Strong technical skills in Java, SQL, XML, and Python/Jython scripting
• Deep expertise in Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
• Strong database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2)
• At Practice Lead Level: Prior experience winning business in the Maximo space, as well as managing/hiring Maximo professionals.
