Senior Lead Consultant – Oracle Cloud HCM (Payroll)

Role Summary

The Senior Lead Consultant – Oracle Cloud HCM (Payroll) is responsible for leading the design and delivery of Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions for enterprise clients. This is a highly client-facing role focused on solution ownership, requirements discovery, and clear communication across the full implementation lifecycle.

You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding payroll strategy, configuration, and delivery while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and scalability. This role requires deep functional expertise in Oracle Payroll, strong consulting skills, and the ability to translate complex payroll requirements into effective Oracle Cloud HCM solutions. Travel to client sites may be required up to 25%.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional lead and primary client contact for Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations
• Lead payroll discovery sessions, including earnings, deductions, taxes, compliance, and integrations
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions
• Own payroll solution design, configuration decisions, and overall implementation approach
• Configure and deploy Oracle Cloud Payroll functionality aligned with best practices and compliance standards
• Partner with HR, Finance, and technical teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and integrations
• Deliver solution demos, design walkthroughs, and stakeholder presentations
• Support all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, parallel payroll, deployment, and post–go-live support
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies and drive timely resolution
• Maintain payroll documentation and manage setups across test and production environments
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal delivery standards and delivery excellence

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll solutions in consulting or enterprise environments
• Deep functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll, including U.S. payroll (multi-state experience preferred)
• Experience leading multiple full-cycle Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to lead discussions and manage expectations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with Oracle implementation partners or boutique consulting firms preferred
