Finance Transformation Specialist TM1

I’m partnering with a financial services firm. They’re known for their strong financial performance and collaborative culture and they’re now looking to strengthen their finance team with a TM1 expert.

As a Finance Transformation Specialist TM1, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of TM1/IBM Planning Analytics used for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to develop visualisations that support decision-making across finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the TM1 power user, improving structure, integration, and usability.
• Design and advise on TM1 model improvements.
• Structure and manage financial data effectively for forecasting and reporting.
• Build and enhance TM1 reports for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with finance and technology teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and insight.

What we’re looking for

• 3–5+ years’ experience in a financial data or systems role.
• Deep TM1 expertise, both as a power user and with front-end design.
• Strong data management and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical TM1 solutions.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for improvement.
