We are currently seeking a Financial Reporting Manager with deep experience in Workiva to join our growing team. This remote position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with top-tier professionals and supporting a diverse range of clients.

Job Description: The Remote Workiva Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing financial reporting processes using the Workiva platform. This role is designed for an experienced professional who has expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance, along with a strong background in implementing and managing Workiva solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Financial Reporting Projects: Manage client-facing projects related to Workiva’s financial reporting tools, ensuring smooth and successful implementation, from planning to execution.
  • Workiva Implementation & Optimization: Leverage your expertise in Workiva to optimize the financial reporting workflows for clients, ensuring they fully utilize the capabilities of the platform.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice, guidance, and training on using Workiva for financial reporting.
  • Prepare and Review Financial Statements: Work with clients to prepare, review, and consolidate financial reports, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial reporting processes through Workiva’s solutions, increasing efficiency and reducing manual efforts.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with internal teams to provide leadership, training, and support for junior staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Stay Updated on Financial Reporting Trends: Keep abreast of industry changes, regulatory updates, and new features of the Workiva platform to ensure clients stay ahead of the curve.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related roles with a focus on Workiva implementation and management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Workiva’s financial reporting tools (Wdata, Wdesk, Wq, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements, US GAAP, and other regulatory standards.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional client-facing skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an easily digestible manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative remote team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with financial consolidation and reporting processes for large organizations.
  • Knowledge of additional Workiva tools and integrations (e.g., Wdata, Wdisclosure, etc.).
  • Experience with IFRS or international financial reporting standards (IFRS) is a plus.
