A leading Workday consultancy in the public sector is seeking an experienced Workday Grants expert to lead deployments of the Grants Management module.

About the Role

As a Manager specializing in enterprise system implementation, you will take a key leadership role across multifaceted client engagements. You’ll design and deploy digital solutions aligned with organizational goals while building long-lasting client relationships and contributing to the growth of your internal teams.

With a deep understanding of industry needs, you’ll lead collaborative efforts that tackle complex challenges, all while mentoring project staff and fostering a culture of excellence and development.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to deepen your specialization in enterprise technology platforms, with a focus on grant-related financial systems. You’ll gain exposure to high-impact projects while continuing to refine your strategic, technical, and leadership skills.

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in implementing enterprise financial systems, with a focus on grant management modules
  • 5 to 7 years of experience gathering requirements, developing functional documentation, conducting testing, troubleshooting, and engaging stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% when required

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Certification or hands-on experience with grant management solutions within Workday or a comparable platform
  • Strong background in leading solution design workshops focused on grant tracking and compliance
  • Practical knowledge of integrations with customer accounts, payroll costing, and effort reporting
  • Experience in designing post-award financial reports, especially in research or academic institutions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to earn trust and influence with executive-level stakeholders, particularly within higher education and healthcare sectors
  • Demonstrated analytical and documentation skills
  • Adaptable and eager to continuously learn emerging tools and technologies
  • Direct exposure to research administration, post-award finance, or sponsored programs operations is highly desirable
