Workday Financials Manager – New York – up to $150k base
Our client, a massively successful Software firm, is hiring for a Workday Financials Manager. This company is HQ’d in New York with offices across the globe.
This role will lead the technical Workday Financials team and be responsible for system maintenance, upgrades and future road mapping. They are exploring Adaptive Planning in the future and you will be pivotal in this evaluation.
Position Overview:
As a Workday Financials Manager you will play a pivotal role in the administration and optimization of the Workday Financials system. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and provide insights that support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the Workday Financials system, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes within Workday.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Provide training and support to end-users, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Stay updated on Workday enhancements and best practices, recommending updates as necessary.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into financial performance.
- Participate in system upgrades and testing, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Lead a team of technical Analysts.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience administering Workday Financials
- Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools within Workday.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a non-profit environment is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
