Workday Compensation Developer

Location: NY, NJ, PA | 2 days on-site

Salary: $120,000 – $180,000

Overview: My client is seeking a Workday Compensation Developer to enhance and optimize Workday Talent Management systems, focusing on Total Rewards Compensation and other Workday modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to define and implement HR technology strategies.
  • Lead the configuration and management of Workday modules, with a primary focus on Compensation and one additional module such as Core HCM, Benefits, or Performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Design and implement Workday solutions, particularly within the Compensation module.
  • Conduct impact analyses and ensure alignment across all parties involved.
  • Manage and support key HR events, including the annual and mid-year compensation planning cycles.
  • Oversee project management processes, from requirement gathering to configuration design and testing.
  • Partner with HR communications and training teams to update and deliver user training and tools.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise HR applications.
  • 3+ years of expertise in Workday HCM, with strong experience in Core/Advanced Compensation, including plans, incentive packages, and integration with other modules.
  • Proven experience in managing Workday annual compensation planning cycles.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday configuration, reporting, and data flow management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Knowledge of divestiture, mergers, and corporate governance processes.
