About the Role
The Financial Applications team, within the CFO’s organization, is responsible for designing and delivering world-class financial systems and platforms that support global business operations at scale. The team focuses on building high-quality, reliable solutions, applying industry best practices, and working closely with stakeholders across Finance and the business.
As a Senior Oracle Architect on the EPM team, you will play a leading role in modernizing and enhancing a core financial planning platform. You will contribute to a high-visibility initiative to migrate and evolve an internally built planning solution onto Oracle’s cloud-native EPM platform, helping create a more integrated, scalable, and efficient environment for Finance partners and business leaders. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Product Manager and other application developers responsible for key financial systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead Platform Modernization: Drive the end-to-end migration of a legacy internal application to Oracle EPM Cloud, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption for business users.
- Partner with Finance Stakeholders: Work closely with Finance and cross-functional teams to understand planning, forecasting, and reporting needs, as well as underlying data flows and business objectives.
- Architect and Configure Solutions: Own the end-to-end solution architecture, translating complex business requirements into scalable, well-designed Oracle EPM solutions, and configuring modules and features to support enterprise planning and performance management use cases.
- Build and Integrate: Design, develop, and oversee advanced planning, forecasting, and reporting models within Oracle EPBCS. Build and support data integrations between Oracle Cloud, data warehouses, and upstream/downstream systems.
- Drive Project Execution: Provide technical leadership across delivery, including timelines, dependencies, and risk management. Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to keep initiatives on track.
- Enable and Support Users: Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts and deliver end-user training and documentation to ensure successful adoption of new capabilities.
- Apply Best Practices: Stay current with Oracle EPM features, industry trends, and architectural best practices to continuously improve the EPM environment and support evolving business needs.
Job Qualifications:
- Deep expertise with Oracle EPM Cloud, with hands-on experience architecting, configuring, and supporting enterprise planning and performance management solutions.
- Strong functional understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM products and associated data integration tools.
- Proven experience leading or owning full-cycle migrations from custom or legacy planning systems to Oracle EPM Cloud.
- Proficiency designing and maintaining complex business rules using Groovy.
- Strong experience with EPM integration tools (e.g., Data Management, Oracle Integration Cloud), EPM Automate, SQL, and building and maintaining both ASO and BSO cubes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical architecture and business requirements.
