A leading European retail and consumer business is currently looking to strengthen its FP&A team with an experienced FP&A Controller. This role plays a key part in financial planning, forecasting, and supporting senior management with strategic decision making in a dynamic, large scale organisation FP&A Controller – Galeria

The role

As FP&A Controller, you will take ownership of core planning and forecasting processes while acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders. You will be involved in both short term performance management and longer term strategic planning initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Ownership of the annual budget process and monthly forecasting
• Development of integrated multi year financial plans
• Analysis of monthly financial results with clear commentary on P&L and balance sheet variances
• Identification and implementation of process and performance improvement opportunities
• Preparation of management and shareholder level reporting
• Active support of management in steering the business, setting targets, and defining strategy
• Proactive identification of risks and opportunities across the business

Your profile

• Degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable qualification
• 5 to 10 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or a similar role
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a high affinity for numbers
• Confident communicator, able to explain complex financial topics to non finance stakeholders
• Hands on, proactive working style with strong teamwork skills
• Solid systems experience, ideally across Excel, Power BI, SAP environments, and modern EPM or CPM tools such as Jedox, Board, or LucaNet
