Codex have recently partnered with a leading technology company who work in the real-estate and financial service sectors. Our client is looking for an experienced accountant in Germany with knowledge of NetSuite and experience as a controller. The ideal candidate will be a fantastic team player and be keen to enhance their own skillset and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly closings in close collaboration with our Accounting team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Generate detailed monthly profit and loss (P&L) reports
• Conduct thorough cost analysis and monitor ongoing expenses
• Perform variance analysis to compare actual results against budgeted figures
• Create comprehensive reports and projections for management review
• Enhance and further develop the existing reporting system to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Act as the point of contact for external auditors
• Maintain internal books and finances Analyse financial transactions

Qualifications

• Accounting certification (IHK Bilanzbuchhalter, ACCA, ACA, CPA)
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with NetSuite or SAP is strongly desirable
• AT LEAST B2 German language skills
• GAAP and IFRS knowledge
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
• Excellent team player and can do attitude
