Project Lead – EPM Consulting

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing EPM consulting firm that’s looking to hire a Project Lead to join its delivery team.

This is a great opportunity for an EPM consultant with Vena experience who’s ready to take ownership of projects, mentor junior consultants, and play a bigger role in client delivery while continuing to stay hands-on with implementations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading end-to-end EPM implementation projects from discovery through go-live.
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, client communication, and overall delivery.
  • Gathering business requirements and designing tailored planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions.
  • Remaining hands-on with configuration, testing, training, and best practice guidance.
  • Mentoring junior consultants and helping develop the wider consulting team.
  • Building long-term client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor throughout implementations.

What they’re looking for:

  • 5+ years implementing Vena in a consulting environment.
  • 2+ years leading projects or managing implementation delivery.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, planning, and financial reporting processes.
  • Experience with Vena required, additional experience with other EPM platforms such as Prophix, Tagetik, Cognos TM1, or Oracle Hyperion Planning a plus.
  • Technical experience with SQL, OLAP/relational databases, ETL processes, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead client-facing engagements and mentor team members.

What’s on offer:

  • The opportunity to take ownership of high-impact implementation projects.
  • A clear progression path into more senior leadership positions.
  • Exposure to a variety of enterprise clients across North America.
  • A collaborative, growing consultancy where your ideas and contributions are valued.
  • Hybrid working and occasional travel (approximately 20%) to support client engagements.
