About the Role

We’re partnering with a rapidly expanding, highly regarded consulting firm that is looking to bring on a Payroll Functional Lead with strong experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced functional specialist to step into a visible leadership role directly supporting senior leadership and driving the success of multiple private-sector client implementations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end functional design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll
• Act as the primary functional SME for private-sector payroll projects
• Conduct client workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable Oracle solutions
• Guide, mentor, and support junior and mid-level functional consultants
• Partner with Time & Labor and Absence teams to ensure effective cross-module integration
• Oversee testing cycles, troubleshoot issues, and support go-lies
• Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor throughout each engagement

What We’re Looking For

• Strong, hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, Time & Labor, and Absence Management modules.
• Proven background in functional design, configuration, and implementation
• Experience working with private-sector clients (required)
• Solid understanding of Payroll integrations with Time & Labor and Absence
• Ability to lead project teams and mentor consultants
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and problem-solving skills
• A proactive mindset and ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-moving environment
