Company Overview:

Our client is a rapidly growing SaaS company in the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) space, providing modern, flexible tools that help finance teams streamline forecasting, automate reporting, and drive strategic business decisions. With strong momentum in the mid-market and enterprise segments, the company is expanding its partner ecosystem and is seeking a highly motivated Partner Manager to join their New York-based team.

Position Overview:

This newly created role will be responsible for developing, managing, and scaling the company’s strategic partnerships—ranging from implementation consultancies to technology alliances. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a similar environment (e.g., FP&A, ERP, or adjacent financial software) and have a track record of building high-impact partner programs that drive revenue and customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, onboard, and enable new channel and strategic partners across the FP&A/financial technology landscape.
  • Build and execute joint go-to-market strategies with consulting and implementation firms.
  • Support partner training, certification, and sales enablement to ensure consistent messaging and delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment of partner initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Track and report on partner performance metrics, pipeline contribution, and forecast accuracy.
  • Represent the company at industry events and partner meetings to drive visibility and engagement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of experience in partner management, channel sales, or business development within B2B SaaS, preferably in the finance software or ERP ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of the FP&A, ERP, or broader financial systems space.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and grow strategic relationships that lead to measurable business impact.
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfort operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Based in or able to relocate to New York City (hybrid role, in-office presence preferred).

Preferred Experience:

  • Background working with or alongside FP&A platforms such as Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Planful, Vena, or similar.
  • Familiarity with partner program structures and experience using PRM systems or Salesforce.
  • Existing network of relevant implementation or consulting partners in the finance tech space.
