Oracle ERP Financials – Principal Consultant (General Ledger Focus)
Salary: $150-190,000 (base salary)
Location: United States (remote)
Position Overview
Leading Oracle Partner seeking an experienced Principal Consultant specializing in Oracle ERP Cloud Financials with a focus on General Ledger (GL). This role involves leading the implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions while closely collaborating with clients to address their business needs. The ideal candidate will excel in solution architecture, process analysis, system configuration, testing, and integration.
The ideal candidate has Higher Education experience. But this is desired, NOT REQUIRED!!!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee Oracle ERP Financials implementations, particularly for GL and Fixed Assets (FA) modules.
- Conduct comprehensive requirements workshops and document findings.
- Drive solution design and ensure high-quality implementation within budget and timelines.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement across financial modules.
- Address complex business challenges by analyzing diverse variables and recommending tailored solutions.
- Lead project phases, including strategy definition, requirement documentation, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, and user training.
- Collaborate with clients to enhance business processes and align them with Oracle Cloud capabilities.
- Assist with data collection and customization of templates based on client requirements.
- Review integration requirements and provide design documents for Oracle Cloud functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience implementing Oracle ERP Financials, including GL, FA, and Intercompany Billing.
- Successful participation in at least three full Oracle ERP Cloud implementation lifecycles.
- Experience in public sector implementations.
- Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams.
- Proficiency with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) desired
- Experience mentoring team members and collaborating across functions.
- Willingness to travel for project requirements.
- Must be US Citizen or GC Holder
