About the Opportunity

A growing enterprise technology consulting organization is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud EPM Planning Consultant to join its delivery team. This individual will play a key role in leading enterprise planning and budgeting initiatives for clients across regulated and complex industries including public administration, education, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

This is a highly collaborative, client-facing consulting role focused on delivering Oracle Cloud EPM solutions from strategy through deployment. The ideal candidate combines strong functional planning expertise with hands-on system configuration experience and the ability to guide stakeholders through transformational finance initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with client leadership teams to design scalable planning solutions, optimize business processes, and implement Oracle Cloud EPM applications that support enterprise-wide financial decision-making.

What You’ll Do

Client Delivery & Solution Leadership

  • Lead Oracle Cloud EPM Planning implementations from discovery through post-go-live support
  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions with finance and operational stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud EPM solutions
  • Provide guidance on planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting best practices
  • Recommend process improvements and advise clients on solution capabilities and limitations
  • Support project governance, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation activities

Functional & Technical Responsibilities

  • Configure Oracle Cloud EPM Planning applications based on client requirements
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation and configuration workbooks
  • Assist with testing strategies, user acceptance testing, and deployment planning
  • Build and support integrations, calculations, reports, and metadata structures
  • Coordinate migrations between development, test, and production environments
  • Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, data loads, and reporting enhancements

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout project delivery
  • Communicate status updates, risks, and recommendations to project stakeholders
  • Deliver clear and professional presentations in virtual and onsite environments
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to delivery best practices

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with financial planning, forecasting, or budgeting solutions
  • Minimum of 3 end-to-end Oracle Cloud EPM Planning implementation projects completed
  • Strong expertise with Oracle EPBCS/PBCS
  • Experience with Oracle Narrative Reporting and Enterprise Data Management preferred
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Comfortable operating in both functional and light technical capacities
  • Experience supporting clients in public sector, healthcare, or higher education environments highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Oracle Cloud certifications are considered a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote within the United States, with periodic travel required for key project activities, workshops, or client milestones. Travel expectations may vary depending on engagement requirements.
