Financial Services Advisor – ERP Technology

The ERP Financial Services Advisor will serve as a trusted strategic partner to financial services organizations, offering advisory expertise across enterprise resource planning (ERP), data strategy, analytics, and emerging technology adoption. This role requires deep industry knowledge across banking, capital markets, insurance, or asset management, strong consulting capabilities, and the ability to engage C-Suite executives with credibility and clarity.

You will guide organizations through complex decisions involving ERP modernization, finance and operations transformation, data governance and analytics platforms, AI use cases, and enterprise technology roadmaps – helping leaders align technology investments to regulatory, operational, and growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to C-Suite leaders (CEO, CIO, CFO, COO, CRO, CDO) on ERP transformation and enterprise data strategy.
• Lead executive-level discussions on how ERP, analytics, and AI can drive operational efficiency, risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.
• Establish credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and shape enterprise-wide technology and operating model visions.
• Assess current ERP and financial systems environments and develop recommendations for modernization, cloud migration, process optimization, and platform consolidation.
• Advise on vendor selection, contract negotiations, value realization, and long-term technology lifecycle planning.
• Provide thought leadership on how leading financial services firms are leveraging AI, advanced analytics, and data platforms for areas such as finance transformation, risk and compliance, fraud detection, forecasting, and workforce optimization.
• Produce high-quality thought leadership content, strategic frameworks, and client-ready deliverables.
• Support executive workshops, board-level briefings, and strategic planning sessions.

Job Qualifications

• 7+ years of advisory or consulting experience with financial services organizations in ERP, data strategy, analytics, or related domains.
• Proven experience working directly with C-Suite and senior executive leadership.
• Strong understanding of financial services ERP and enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, Coupa) and core finance and operations processes.
• Deep knowledge of data platforms, analytics, and AI technologies, with practical examples of how firms are applying them at scale.
• Demonstrated ability to define and communicate enterprise strategy, operating models, and business cases.
• Experience with large banks, insurers, asset managers, or capital markets firms.
• Track record of influencing strategic decision-making at the executive and board level.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments, risk management, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Prior experience with a top-tier consulting firm or strategic advisory boutique.
