Our client, a leading financial services firm based in Chicago, is seeking an experienced Anaplan Solution Architect to join their growing planning and transformation team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a high-calibre group of experienced Anaplanners, playing a key role in shaping enterprise-wide planning solutions across finance and operations.

The Role

As the Anaplan Solution Architect, you will take ownership of solution design and architectural best practice across complex, multi-model environments. You’ll partner with senior finance stakeholders, technology teams, and business leaders to deliver scalable, high-performance planning solutions that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Anaplan solution architecture and model design
• Define model standards, governance, and best practices
• Oversee complex model builds and integrations (ERP, data warehouses, FP&A systems)
• Translate business requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions
• Mentor and guide model builders and developers
• Drive performance optimisation and platform enhancements
• Act as the primary architectural authority for all Anaplan initiatives

Required Experience

• Proven experience as an Anaplan Solution Architect or Senior Model Builder
• Deep expertise in multi-dimensional modelling, data hubs, and ALM
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale FP&A, forecasting, or regulatory planning solutions
• Strong stakeholder management experience within financial services
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior leadership

Desirable

• Anaplan Solution Architect certification
• Experience within financial services (banking, asset management, insurance, or capital markets)
